When referring to the music licences, a school purpose is a purpose which the school undertakes as part of its usual activities, provided it is non-commercial. For example:
- providing educational services or religious services for staff, students and members of the school’s community as part of normal school activities
- engaging with members of the school community
- promoting students’ work
- school events.
Private music tuition is not a school purpose.
